The design of the Rolex Datejust 126234-0049 has been included in the latest list of the brand with the crown logo, introduced at the Watches and Wonders 2021 event in April. This version stands out with its blue textured dial, particularly attracting the attention of Rolex enthusiasts.
As known, Rolex maintains a classic and traditional operating style. The brand does not take risks with overly avant-garde designs; instead, they focus on upgrading and improving existing watch models. The Datejust collection is a prime example, with the 2021 version showing little change from the original model introduced in 1945.
The Oyster case still retains its sturdy structure and outstanding water resistance capabilities. Enhanced protection is provided with the metal case back and robust Twinlock winding crown, resulting in water resistance of up to 100 meters.
Rolex owns its own metal casting workshop, allowing them to use special materials. The Rolex Datejust 36 126234-0049 is made of 904L steel, known for its high hardness, scratch resistance, and corrosion resistance. White gold is used for the bezel, crafted and polished meticulously, creating sparkling highlights under sunlight.
Since its inception in 1945, the Datejust has always been paired with the elegant and refined Jubilee bracelet. Over nearly 80 years, this design has been preserved and significantly improved. The traditional Jubilee bracelet has been replaced with a solid steel bracelet, providing greater durability and sturdiness.
